I noticed people have been inquiring about how to cancel a required minimum distribution (RMD). This will be a procedure that varies with each custodian. Hopefully the custodian answers their phone and you can get quick answer.
If not, hopefully you are working with an advisor who knows how to correct this for you. I am not sure why you might want to cancel an RMD. However, whatever the reason, confirm that you are not causing yourself a tax issue.
